Update January 4: The leak was legit and there's in real time an official compress release and Steam page for Destruction Stranding: Director's Cut, which shows the release date as 2022. Original story follows.

Last Stranding: Director's Cut looks alike a pretty wild enhancement and upgrade to what is already our 2020 game of the year. The game was released as a Playstation 5 exclusive Modern shoemaker's last twelvemonth though, as with the original, the expectation was we'd sooner or later see it on PC (afterward all, the Steam version sold incredibly well).

That now looks alike a cert after ironware website Videocardz.com acquired an early simulate of a CES 2022 press release from Intel about its new Atomic number 54 Super Sample (XeSS) graphics technology. Videocardz tends to be one of the biggest leakers of hardware stories on the net, and the release includes a quote from the president of 505 Games, Neil Exchange, close to the integration of Intel technical school into Decease Stranding: Director's Cut.

"We'atomic number 75 delighted to denote our partnership with Intel for the Death Stranding Director's Cut version on PC," says Rally. "Death Stranding has been a enormously touristed game with PC players and we're excited to see how Intel's novel XeSS technology will heighten player experience for Director's Weakened."

No other specific titles are mentioned as implementing XeSS, though studios mentioned to be working with the tech admit Codemasters, PUBG Studios and Ubisoft. Intel has unwritten about its XeSS engineering in some deepness antecedently, and its GPU agnostic approach should appeal to developers.

Well, it appears information technology might constitute time to deliver some load again. Death Stranding is a gorgeous experience anyway and the Director's Track added a big come of new stuff, including VR missions echoing Argentiferous Gear, new items like hoverpacks, and a rather foolish racing raceway. Perhaps the most Kojima moment around the District of Columbia's free came when he declared that he wasn't happy with it organism called 'director's cut'—as if he had no sound out in the matter.
